Section 12-15-143 Violations of orders punished as contempt; willful conduct rendering violator responsible for court costs and attorney fees. (a) Any person violating an order of protection or restraint shall be punishable for contempt of court, as in other cases, and upon a finding of willful conduct, shall be responsible for the payment of court costs and attorney fees incurred by any person in seeking enforcement of the order. (b) Any person may also be charged with a willful violation of a protection order pursuant to subsection (c) of Section 30-5A-3. (a)(1) In addition to all other charges, costs, taxes, or fees levied by law on bail bonds, additional fees as detailed in paragraph a. and paragraph b. shall be imposed on every bail bond in all courts of this state. The fee shall not be assessed in traffic cases, except for those serious traffic offenses enumerated in Title 32, Chapter 5A, Article 9.
