Section 15-20A-42 Collection and dissemination of information by Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. (a) Any jurisdiction or agency responsible for registering a sex offender shall immediately forward all required registration information and any changes to the required registration information received to the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency in a manner determined by the Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency and promulgated in rule by the secretary upon recommendation of an advisory board consisting of representatives of the office of the Attorney General, District Attorneys Association, Chiefs of Police Association, Sheriffs Association, and the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall suspend for a period of six months the driver's license of any person, including, but not limited to, a juvenile, child, or youthful offender, convicted or adjudicated of, or subjected to a finding of delinquency based on, the crimes specified in Section 13A-12-291. Section 15-1-2 Limits on interviews of victims of sexual abuse or exploitation under 12 years of age; confidentiality of court records of victims under 18 years of age.
