Section 45-31-83.03 Additional special recording fee. (a)(1) Upon the date of adoption
of a resolution of the Geneva County Commission declaring the implementation of this section,
an additional special recording fee of five dollars ($5) shall be charged and collected by
the Judge of Probate of Geneva County for each real property instrument, personal property
instrument, or any other document or instrument filed for record in the office of the judge
of probate. (2) On and after the date of adoption, no document or instrument shall be received
for record in the office of the judge of probate unless the special recording fee provided
