Section 22-21-175 Board of directors. (a) The corporation shall have a board of directors in which all powers of the corporation shall be vested. No professional surety company shall execute or become surety on any appearance bond in this state, unless it has an order granting authorization to become professional surety on any bail. (a) An employee shall have the right to appeal any disciplinary action taken against him or her, provided, however, that an employee on probationary status shall have no such right unless such employee shall have had permanent status in some other position at the time he or she was appointed to his or her present position.
