Section 32-7C-2 Insurance requirements. (a) On or before October 30, 2016, and thereafter, a TNC driver or a TNC on the behalf of the TNC driver shall maintain primary automobile insurance that recognizes that the driver is a TNC driver or otherwise uses a vehicle to transport riders for compensation and covers the driver under both of the following circumstances: (1) While the TNC driver is logged onto the digital network of a TNC. (2) While the TNC driver is engaged in a prearranged ride. (b)(1) The following automobile insurance requirements shall apply while a participating TNC driver is logged on to the digital network of a TNC and is available to receive transportation requests but is not engaged in a prearranged ride: a. Section 40-9F-33 Limitations on tax credits; Historic Income Tax Credit Account; transfer or assignment of tax credits. (a) The state portion of any tax credit against the tax imposed by Chapter 18 for the taxable year in which the certified rehabilitation is placed in service, shall be equal to 25 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for certified historic structures. No tax credit claimed for any certified rehabilitation may exceed five million dollars ($5,000,000) for all allowable property types except a certified historic residential structure, and fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a certified historic residential structure. (a) The Legislature finds and declares the following: (1) The State of Alabama has a great need from time to time to have access to financing for economic development and industrial recruitment that does not involve improvements to revenue-producing facilities. (a)(1) An individual taxpayer who files a state income tax return and is not claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer, a taxpayer subject to the corporate income tax levied by Chapter 18 of Title 40, an Alabama S corporation as defined in Section 40-18-160, or a Subchapter K entity as defined in Section 40-18-1 may claim a credit for a contribution made to a scholarship granting organization. (a)(1) There is created within the Health Care Trust Fund referenced in Article 3 of Chapter 6 of Title 22 of a designated account known as the Hospital Assessment Account. (a) For weeks of unemployment during benefit years which begin before the effective date of subsection (b), an individual's weekly benefit amount shall be as prescribed by this section as amended through July 6, 1997.
