Section 11-70A-1 Applicability. This chapter shall apply only in a Class 3 municipality and provides the exclusive procedure for an expedited quiet title and foreclosure action for a Class 3 municipality, notwithstanding Section 24-9-8. Section 40-10-82 shall not apply to, restrict, or otherwise affect any cause of action or action brought by a Class 3 municipality pursuant to this chapter and shall not remove any limitation of action or extend the period of redemption of any abandoned tax sale properties within the corporate limits of the Class 3 municipality acquired by it from the State Land Commissioner. Section 45-2-261.01 Appointment of members and personnel of the Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commission. The planning commission shall be composed of nine regular members, each of whom shall be a qualified elector and an actual resident of the county. One and only one regular member of the planning commission may be a qualified elector of the county who resides in the corporate limits of a municipality in the county.
