Section 22-21-175 Board of directors. (a) The corporation shall have a board of directors in
which all powers of the corporation shall be vested. The board of directors shall consist
of (1) Two persons elected by the county commission of the county; (2) Two persons elected
by the governing body of the largest of the member municipalities, according to the federal
decennial census next preceding the date of the filing of the certificate of incorporation
of the corporation for record; (3) One person elected by the governing body of each of the
other member municipalities; (4) Two persons, each of whom shall be, at the time of his appointment,
a physician licensed to practice the profession of medicine in the county, resident in the

Section 22-28-23 Local air pollution control programs. (a) Except as provided in this section,
it is the intention of this chapter to occupy by preemption the field of air pollution control
within all areas of the State of Alabama. However, nothing in this section shall be construed
to limit or abrogate any private remedies now available to any person for the alleviation,
abatement, control, correction, or prevention of air pollution or restitution for damage resulting
therefrom. (b) Subject to the provisions of this section, each municipal governing body which
had municipal ordinances in effect on, or before, July 1, 1969, which pertain to air pollution

Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board. The board shall consist of nine members, one of whom

Section 45-2-234.08 Terms of office; oath; compensation; appeals procedures. (a) The original
members shall serve for the following terms: One for one year, one for two years, one for
three years, and two for four years, as determined by the drawing of lots. Thereafter, all

Section 45-37-91.03 Powers of bureau. (a) The bureau may conduct programs including, but not
limited to, programs of information and publicity designed to attract conventions and tourists
to the area. The bureau may conduct the programs and expend its funds in the furtherance of

Section 45-48-70.55 Final budget. (a) Within a reasonable time after the invitation for questions
and comments on the tentative budget as provided for in Section 45-48-70.54, but before September
30, the commission shall adopt and approve a final budget for the ensuing fiscal year which
budget may not thereafter be amended or revised except by a majority vote of the entire commission.
The budget may not provide for a deficit. (b) The expenditures of no commissioner, office,

Section 15-18-179 Application for incorporation; certificate of incorporation; amendment; board
of directors; dissolution; funding; competitive bidding laws not applicable. (a) A public
corporation may be organized as a community punishment and corrections authority pursuant
to this article in any county or group of counties located in one or more judicial circuits.
In order to incorporate the public corporation, any number of natural persons, not less than

authority for the jurisdiction of the State of Alabama, to be styled the Alabama Indian Housing
