Section 11-97-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter, and
others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of a clear implication
herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPLICANT.
A natural person who files a written application with the governing body of any county or
municipality in accordance with the provisions of Section 11-97-3 hereof. (2) AUTHORIZING
RESOLUTION. A resolution of ordinance adopted by the governing body of any county or municipality
in accordance with the provisions of Section 11-97-3 hereof, that authorizes the incorporation
of a corporation. (3) BOARD. The board of directors of a corporation. (4) BONDS. Bonds, notes,
or other obligations representing an obligation to pay money. (5) CORPORATION. Any public

Section 16-17-1 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall be given the following respective meanings: (1) ANCILLARY IMPROVEMENTS. Educational

Section 22-23B-7 Purpose; issuing, selling and refunding of bonds. For the purpose of
providing funds for the authority to make loans to public bodies for a project or projects,
or for the payment of obligations incurred or temporary loans made for any of said purposes,
the authority is hereby authorized, from time to time, to issue and sell its bonds or other
evidences of indebtedness. Such bonds may be issued in one or more series; shall be in such
form and denominations and of such terms and maturities, not exceeding 30 years from the date

Section 45-39-221.03 Powers of tourism board. (a) The tourism board may conduct programs
and events, including, but not limited to, programs of information and publicity, sporting
events, and other public events to attract tourists and visitors to the county. The tourism
