Section 11-50B-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADVANCED TELECOMMUNICATIONS CAPABILITY. Without regard to any transmission media or technology, high-speed, switched, broadband telecommunications capability that enables users to originate and receive high-quality voice, data, graphics, and video telecommunications using any technology. (2) ADVANCED TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE. Section 11-97-8 Powers of corporation; location of facilities of corporation. The Legislature hereby finds and declares as follows: (1) That in order to promote the public health of the people of the State of Alabama, the Legislature enacted the enabling statute, whereunder, among other things: a.
