Section 10A-1-1.03 Definitions. As used in this title, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms mean: (1) AFFILIATE. A person who controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another person. An affiliate of an individual includes the spouse, or a parent or sibling thereof, of the individual, or a child, grandchild, sibling, parent, or spouse of any thereof, of the individual, or an individual having the same home as the individual, or a trust or estate of which an individual specified in this sentence is a substantial beneficiary; a trust, estate, incompetent, conservatee, protected person, or minor of which the individual is a fiduciary; or an entity of which the individual is director, general partner, agent, employee or the governing authority or member of the governing authority. Section 11-86A-4 Filing of application for incorporation with probate judge; contents thereof; recordation of application by probate judge; approval or disapproval by governing body of county of incorporation and each participating municipality. Section 11-20-70 Establishment of agriculture authority; application; articles of incorporation. (a) An agriculture authority may be established in any county to construct and operate facilities to promote agricultural businesses, operations, and commodities, workforce development, and economic development within the county as further provided in this article. The operational area of an agriculture authority may not extend beyond the boundaries of the county in which an agriculture authority is incorporated. Section 11-92A-22 Dissolution of authority. (a) At any time when no bonds of an authority are outstanding, an authority may be dissolved by the adoption by its board of directors of a resolution recommending its dissolution and the approval of such dissolution and the proposed articles of dissolution by the governing body of each county within an authority's authorized operational area by the adoption of a resolution to the effect that the governing body of such county concurs with the proposed dissolution of the authority.
