Section 23-1-50.1 Road machinery and equipment management program; Equipment Management Surplus Reserve Account. (a) It is the intent of the Legislature to give the State Department of Transportation authority to accumulate depreciation, equipment replacement allowances, and salvage value on road machinery and equipment sufficient to upgrade, replace, or make extraordinary repairs to the road machinery and equipment of the State Department of Transportation, as determined by a road machinery and equipment management program to be developed by the department. (b) Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following words and phrases will have the following meanings: (1) STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION DIVISIONS. Those divisions of the Department of Transportation responsible for road construction and maintenance over a specified geographic area of the state. (2) DEPRECIATION. The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is enacted into law and entered into with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR JUVENILES Article I. Purpose. The compacting states to this interstate compact recognize that each state is responsible for the proper supervision or return of juveniles, delinquents and status offenders who are on probation or parole and who have absconded, escaped or run away from supervision and control and in so doing have endangered their own safety and the safety of others. Section 22-35-5 Fee; withdrawals; disposition of funds; liability for clean-up costs; audit. (a) Every owner of an underground or aboveground storage tank as defined in this chapter shall pay an Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee as established by the provisions of this chapter to be paid to the department. During the first year next following October 1, 1988, the amount of the annual Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100). Thereafter, the commission, upon recommendation of the management board, shall set such an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per year per regulated tank. Should the fund become depleted due to claims being greater than amounts provided by tank fees, the commission shall be empowered to make special assessments of tank fees to protect the financial integrity of the fund.
