Section 45-48-70.03 Associate commissioners. The associate members of the Commission on Government and Finance of Marshall County shall serve as associate commissioners of the Marshall County Commission and shall hold office until the first Monday after the second Tuesday in January, 1979, and until their successors are elected and qualified. The associate commissioners shall each receive as compensation for their services the sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000) per year and an additional two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) per year for expenses, payable out of the Treasury of Marshall County.
