Section 45-49-91.18 Appeals to Mobile County Commission. (a) Appeals to the Mobile County Commission may be taken by any aggrieved person. The appeal shall be taken as provided by the rules of the board and within the time period prescribed by its rules, by filing notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof with the board from whom the appeal is taken and with the Mobile County Commission. (a)(1) The State Board of Medical Examiners on its own motion may investigate any evidence which appears to show that a physician or osteopath holding a certificate of qualification to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama is or may be guilty of any of the acts, offenses, or conditions set out in Section 34-24-360.
