Section 9-10A-11 Successor of director; term of office. The successor of a director who must reside in a particular county shall be either elected or appointed. The method of selection shall be determined by the board of supervisors who determined the method of selecting the incumbent director whose term is expiring. The method of selection chosen shall be proclaimed by resolution. Section 34-21A-5 Officers, executive director, and administration of the board. (a) At its annual organizational meeting, the board shall elect from its members a chair, vice-chair, and a secretary/treasurer for a one-year term of office.
