Section 45-46-90.06 Powers of the authority. (a) The authority shall have the following powers,
together with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate
form: (1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time which may be perpetuity,
subject to Section 45-46-90.18, specified in its certificate of incorporation. (2) To sue
and be sued in its own name in civil suits and actions, excepting actions in tort, and to
defend suits against it. (3) To adopt and make use of a corporate seal and to alter the same

Section 28-3A-17.1 Entertainment district designation in certain municipalities. (a)(1) Notwithstanding
any rule adopted by the board, the board may issue an entertainment district designation to
any retailer licensee that is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption
and to any manufacturer licensee that conducts tastings or samplings on the licensed premises,
provided the licensees are located in an entertainment district established pursuant to this

Section 40-9C-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall have the following meanings: (1) ABATE, ABATEMENT. A reduction or elimination of a taxpayer's
