Section 45-28-234.03 THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE
2017 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE JUNE 3, 2015. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT.
(a) There is created the Personnel Board of the Office of the Sheriff of Etowah County which
shall be composed of five members. One member shall be appointed by the sheriff and one member
shall be appointed by each of the four members of the legislative delegation representing
Etowah County. (b) The initial appointments shall be as follows: (1) The member appointed
by the Sheriff of Etowah County shall serve an initial term of four years and shall serve
as chair of the board. (2) The member appointed by the State Senator representing Senate District

Section 35-2-26 Advisory board - Terms of members; filling of vacancies. Of the five
members first appointed to the division of land surveys advisory board, one shall be appointed
for a term of one year, one for two years, one for three years, and two for four years. At

Section 45-39A-13.02 Composition of civil service board. The civil service board shall
consist of five members to be appointed by the members of the City Council of the City of
Florence. In each year the city council shall appoint one person as the successor to the member
of the civil service board whose term shall expire that year. The person so appointed shall
hold office for a term of five years from and including the first Tuesday after the first
Monday of April of the year and until his or her successor shall be appointed and qualify

(a) There is created and established a board, to be known as the State Oil and Gas Board,

Section 45-34-83 Southeast Alabama Human Development Council. (a)(1) In Henry County,
the Southeast Alabama Human Development Council is hereby established as a nonprofit entity.
The members of the council are the juvenile judge, chair of the county commission, sheriff,
