Section 11-72-8 Powers of the commission; recordkeeping. (a) The commission may do all of the
following: (1) Adopt bylaws and rules and regulations pursuant to this chapter. (2) Meet at
least once each month and specially as it deems necessary and as provided in the bylaws. (3)
Provide printed forms to be used as shall be necessary to govern its proceedings and to effectuate
the provisions of this chapter. (4) Cause studies to be made as it deems necessary. (5) Perform
its functions directly through its own agents or employees, or may contract with others for
specific or general services to carry out its purposes hereunder. (b) It shall keep a record
of its proceedings and a register of all applications made to it and its action thereon, all

Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which
shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated
in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender,

Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence
in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with
tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to

who have underground facilities within this state shall participate in and utilize the services
