Section 45-31-241 Levy of tax for public school purposes. (a) In order to provide funds for the benefit of the public schools in Geneva County, the Geneva County Commission or other governing body of Geneva County is hereby authorized to levy and to provide for the assessment and collection of any sales and use taxes generally paralleling the state sales and use taxes in Geneva County or in any portion thereof as hereinafter provided, which tax or taxes shall be in addition to any and all other county taxes heretofore or hereafter authorized by law in Geneva County. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191, the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02.
