Section 11-51-196 Disclosure of license information. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person
to print, publish, or divulge, without the written permission or approval of the taxpayer,
the license form of any taxpayer or any part of the license form, or any information secured
in arriving at the amount of tax or value reported, for any purpose other than the proper
administration of any matter administered by the taxing jurisdiction, or upon order of any
court, or as otherwise allowed in this section. Nothing herein shall prohibit the disclosure,
upon request, of the fact that a taxpayer has or has not purchased a business license or of
the name and address of a taxpayer purchasing or renewing a business license from the municipality.
Statistical information pertaining to taxes may be disclosed to the municipal governing body
upon their request. Any person willfully violating this section shall, for each act of disclosure,

Section 13A-8-114 Phishing. (a) A person commits the crime of phishing if the person by means
of an Internet web page, electronic mail message, or otherwise using the Internet, solicits,
requests, or takes any action to induce another person to provide identifying information
by representing that the person, either directly or by implication, is a business, without
the authority or approval of the business. (b) Any person violating this section, upon conviction,
shall be guilty of a Class C felony. Multiple violations resulting from a single action or
act shall constitute one violation for the purposes of this section. (c) The following persons
may bring an action against a person who violates or is in violation of this section: (1)
A person who is engaged in the business of providing Internet access service to the public,

Section 7-4-209 Encoding and retention warranties. (a) A person who encodes information on
or with respect to an item after issue warrants to any subsequent collecting bank and to the
