(a) The purpose of this chapter is to provide for the incorporation of medical clinic boards as public agencies and instrumentalities of the State of Alabama to promote the acquisition of health facilities in order to promote the public health of the people of Alabama and also to promote the acquisition of certain other facilities for the housing and care of elderly persons. Section 11-94-23 Correction of errors or omissions in incorporation. If an authority formed under this chapter has failed to comply with the requirements of this chapter in its organization, such omission or defect may be corrected as follows: (1) Its board shall file with the governing body of each authorizing subdivision of the authority a resolution seeking permission to correct the defect or omissions, specifying such defect or omission in the resolution.
