to be submitted for approval of commission after adoption of master plan; overruling of commission.
Whenever the commission shall have adopted the master plan of the municipality or of one or
more major sections or districts thereof, no street, square, park, or other public way, ground
or open space or public building or structure or public utility, whether publicly or privately
owned, shall be constructed or authorized in the municipality or in such planned section
and district until the location, character, and extent thereof shall have been submitted to
and approved by the commission; provided, that in case of disapproval the commission shall

Section 11-24-2 Submission, review, and approval of plats; permit. (a) It shall be the
duty of the owner and developer of each subdivision to have all construction completed in
conformity with this chapter and, prior to beginning any construction or development, to submit
the proposed plat to the county commission for approval and obtain a permit to develop as
required in this section. The permit to develop shall be obtained before the actual
sale, offering for sale, transfer, or lease of any lots from the subdivision or addition to
the public, it must include a plan to deliver utilities including water, and shall only be

Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence
in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with
tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to
requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer
has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among
other things, on the hazards of litigation. By establishing an independent Alabama Tax Tribunal
within the executive branch of government, this chapter provides taxpayers with a means of
resolving controversies that insures both the appearance and the reality of due process and

by a single resolution or may by successive resolutions adopt successive parts of the plan,
