Section 27-17A-11 Application for certificate; statements; issuance; expiration; transfer.
(a) An application to the commissioner for a certificate of authority shall be accompanied
by the statement and other matters described in this section in the form prescribed
by the commissioner. Annually thereafter, within six months after the end of its fiscal period,
or within an extension of time therefor, as the commissioner for good cause may grant, the
person authorized to engage in the sale of preneed contracts shall file with the commissioner
a full and true statement of his or her financial condition, transactions, and affairs, prepared
on a basis as adopted by a rule of the commissioner, as of the preceding fiscal period or
at such other time or times as the commissioner may provide by rule, together with information

Section 27-6B-4 Contract requirements. (a) Unless there is a written contract between
the controlling producer and the insurer approved by the board of directors of the insurer
and specifying the responsibilities of each party, a controlled insurer shall not accept business
from a controlling producer and a controlling producer shall not place business with a controlled
insurer. The contract between a controlling producer and a controlled insurer shall, as a
minimum, contain all of the following: (1) A provision that, upon written notice to the controlling

Section 40-29A-3 Tax amnesty program. (a) The department shall develop and implement
a tax amnesty program in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. The commissioner
may provide by rule as necessary for the administration and implementation of the program.
The commissioner shall publicize the program in order to maximize the public awareness of
and participation in the program. The commissioner, for purpose of publicizing the program,
may contract with any advertising agency within or outside this state and use public service
announcements, pamphlets, mail notices, and print, television, and radio announcements. Such
publications shall include increasing public awareness that the program will provide amnesty
for sales and use tax due on internet, mail order, or other purchases made from out-of-state

Section 7-9A-523 Information from filing office; sale or license of records. (a) Acknowledgment
of filing written record. If a person that files a written record requests an acknowledgment
of the filing, the filing office shall send to the person an image of the record showing the
number assigned to the record pursuant to Section 7-9A-519(a)(1) and the date and time
of the filing of the record. However, if the person furnishes a copy of the record to the
filing office, the filing office may instead: (1) note upon the copy the number assigned to

Section 22-52-10.9 Order finding defendant insane, mentally incompetent, etc., to be
entered into information systems; civil review. (a)(1) Upon any finding that a defendant is
insane, mentally incompetent, or not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect pursuant
to Chapter 16 of Title 15, or the Alabama Rules of Criminal Procedure, the judge shall immediately
forward the order of the finding to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the order shall

As used in this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1)

Section 34-41-5 Powers of board. (a) The board shall elect from its membership a chair,
a vice chair, and a secretary-treasurer. The board shall adopt rules to govern its proceedings.
A majority of the appointed membership of the board shall constitute a quorum for all meetings.
