Section 13A-8-23 Tampering with availability of gas, electricity, or water. (a) The following terms shall have the meanings ascribed thereto unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) OWNER. Includes any part owner, joint owner, tenant-in-common, joint tenant, or tenant by the entirety of the whole or part of any building. (2) PERSON. Includes a corporation, firm, company, or association. (3) TENANT or OCCUPANT. (a) Each radio utility, as defined in this article, doing business in this state and subject to the control and jurisdiction of the commission with respect to its rates and service regulations, shall pay quarterly to the commission, beginning on November 1, 1988, and on each quarter thereafter, February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1 of each year, a fee for the inspection and supervision of such business during the next preceding fiscal year.
