Section 45-47-244.21 Levy of privilege or license tax. Effective on the first day of the month
succeeding the month during which this subpart becomes a law, there is hereby levied in Marion
County, in addition to all other taxes of every kind now imposed by law, and shall be collected
as herein provided, a privilege or license tax against the person on account of the business
activities and in the amount to be determined by the application of rates against gross sales,
or gross receipts, as the case may be, as follows: (1) Upon every person, firm, or corporation
(not including the State of Alabama or the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board or ABC

Section 10A-20-6.14 Filing of annual statements. (a) On or before the first day of March of
each year, every company transacting business under this article in this state shall file
with the Commissioner of Insurance a statement showing the amount of gross dues received by
it for business done in this state during the preceding calendar year ending December 31 and
the number of contracts or certificates outstanding. (b) The corporation shall, annually,
on or before the first day of March, file in the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance a
statement, verified by at least two of the principal officers of the corporation, showing
its condition on December 31 next preceding, which shall be in the form, and shall contain

in this state as common carriers for the privilege of doing intrastate business within the

Section 11-51-205 Establishment of rate of taxes; levy and assessment of taxes in lieu of license

Section 11-51-95 Taxpayer to be licensed for each applicable line of business. (a) Any taxpayer
engaged at one location in more than one line of business falling within separate NAICS sector
or sub-sectors, for which a business license is or may be required by the municipality in

Section 27-22-21 Policy and premium information to be submitted to the Department of Insurance.
(a) Each insurance company authorized to transact homeowners insurance business in the State
of Alabama shall annually submit to the department for homeowners insurance policies, computations
of the total amount of direct incurred losses, the number of policies in force, and the direct
earned premiums for the prior calendar year. The insurance company shall report the computations
to the department by zip code. The information received by the department shall be aggregated
