Section 45-37A-52.64 Meetings; passage of ordinances, etc. The council shall hold regular public meetings on Tuesday of each and every week at a regular hour to be fixed by the order of the council from time to time and publicly announced. The council may hold such adjourned, called, special, or other meetings as the business of the city may require. The president of the council, when present, shall preside at all meetings of the council. At the time fixed for receiving and considering the report, the city council shall hear the same, together with objections which may be raised by any property owners liable to be assessed for the work in abating the nuisance and thereupon make modifications in the report as they deem necessary, after which by motion or resolution the report shall be confirmed. (a) If the owner fails, neglects, or refuses to abate the condition after notice to do so, the enforcing official shall cause the offending grass or weeds to be cut.
