Section 40-18-402 Renewal of Alabama Commission. (a) There is hereby created the Renewal of
Alabama Commission. (b) The commission shall be comprised of all of the following persons:
(1) The Director of Finance, or his or her designee. (2) The Secretary of Commerce, or his
or her designee. (3) The Chair of the House Ways and Means Education Committee, or its successor
committee, if any, or his or her designee. (4) The Chair of the Senate Finance and Taxation
Education Committee, or its successor committee, if any, or his or her designee. (5) Three
persons appointed by the Governor, at least one of whom shall be a resident of an area of

Section 45-26A-70.12 Architectural review board. (a) Wetumpka, enacting an ordinance pursuant
to this article, may elect to create an architectural review board, hereinafter sometimes
called the board, to perform the duties and responsibilities of the historic preservation
commission in accepting, considering, and approving or rejecting applications for certificates
of appropriateness, as set out in Sections 45-26A-70.08 to 45-26A-70.11, inclusive. (b) If

Section 45-35A-51.07 Personnel board. (a) The personnel board shall consist of five members
and they and their successors in office shall be elected or appointed by the citizens supervisory
