Section 8-6-5 Registration of securities - Registration by notification. (a) The following securities may be registered by notification, whether or not they are also eligible for registration by coordination under Section 8-6-6: (1) Any security whose issuer and any predecessors have been in continuous operation for at least five years if: a. Section 12-25-32 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) COMMISSION. The Alabama Sentencing Commission, established as a state agency under the Supreme Court by this chapter. (2) CONTINUUM OF PUNISHMENTS. Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among other things, on the hazards of litigation. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section.
