Section 40-18-78 Credit for tax withheld. The amount deducted and withheld as tax under Section
40-18-71 during any calendar year upon the wages of any individual shall be allowed as a credit
to the recipient of the income against the tax imposed by Section 40-18-5 for taxable years

Section 28-3A-17.1 Entertainment district designation in certain municipalities. (a)(1) Notwithstanding
any rule adopted by the board, the board may issue an entertainment district designation to
any retailer licensee that is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption
and to any manufacturer licensee that conducts tastings or samplings on the licensed premises,
provided the licensees are located in an entertainment district established pursuant to this

Section 45-27-246.30 Trust fund. (a) The Legislature recognizes that there has been a certain
windfall to Escambia County paid during the fiscal year 1983-84 and arising under the oil
and gas severance tax levied under provisions of Section 40-20-2, and distributed under Section

as defined by Section 40-12-240, from escaping taxation and to provide for the more efficient

payment of license tax; effect of failure to file statement or pay tax. On or before March
1 of each year, each insurance company which did any business in any municipality in this
state during any part of the preceding year shall, if a license or privilege tax is imposed
