Section 41-10-652 Definitions. When used in this division, the following terms shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) ANCILLARY COSTS shall mean the costs incurred in acquiring and constructing public improvements that benefit all or any part of the project including, without limitation, (i) improvements to streets, roads and bridges, (ii) improvements to water and sewer systems, gas and electric systems, and other utilities providing services to any part of the project, (iii) improvements to the police, fire, and emergency rescue services provided to the company by local governmental entities, and (iv) improvements to transportation systems benefiting the company, such as railroad spur and switching facilities. Section 11-3A-2 Powers for public welfare, health, and safety; authorization; scope. (a) The Legislature recognizes that persons who participate in equine activities may incur injuries as a result of the risks involved in those activities. Section 22-27-47 Local plans required. (a) Each county and any municipality as described below shall submit to the department, within one and one-half years of May 16, 1989, a plan for the management of solid waste generated within its boundaries. A county's plan shall include the municipal jurisdictions within its boundaries except that any municipality may choose to submit its own solid waste management plan intended for implementation within its city limits and thereby be excluded from its county plan. Cities which do not choose to exclude themselves from their county's plan shall be responsible to share in the county's costs proportionately on a per capita basis.
