Section 11-54A-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, shall be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPLICANT. A natural person who files a written application with the governing body of any city in accordance with Section 11-54A-4. (2) AUTHORITY. Any redevelopment authority organized pursuant to this chapter. (3) AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION. A resolution adopted by the governing body of any city in accordance with Section 11-54A-4, that authorizes the corporation of the authority. (4) BOARD. The board of directors of the authority. (5) BONDS. Shall include bonds, notes, and certificates representing an obligation to pay money. (6) CITY. Section 33-15-3 Procedure for incorporation.
