Section 45-5-111 Appointment of clerks; rules and regulations. (a) The Probate Judge of Blount County shall appoint one or more regular clerks in the probate office as deputy registrars empowered to take applications, testimony, and oaths of applicants for voting registration at any time the probate office is open to the public for business. Such application shall then be submitted to the board of registrars at their next meeting and the board shall notify the applicants in writing of their action on the application.
