Section 45-18-70.01 Election of members; terms of office. The five members of the commission shall be elected from single-member districts within Conecuh County. All five commissioners will run concurrently in 1988, and will be elected to serve a four-year term. The coroner may appoint a qualified person to serve as deputy coroner to perform the duties of the coroner when the coroner is unavailable or absent or when the coroner is incapacitated.
