Section 11-50-524 Corporate powers. (a) The corporation shall be entitled to all the exemptions provided by the general laws of Alabama and of the United States for municipal corporations. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR.
