the sentiment of the voters residing outside the corporate limits of any municipalities within
the county, as to whether alcoholic beverages may be legally sold or distributed on Sunday
in the unincorporated area of the county as further provided for and regulated by ordinance

Section 11-42-80 Assessment, collection, and disposition of street tax in territory exempt
from taxation. The council or governing body of the city shall have the same rights and powers
by and under an ordinance enacted to assess and collect a street tax from every person liable
to road or street duty residing in the territory exempt from taxation that it has to assess
and collect such tax from other persons residing within the corporate limits of the city,
but not in territory exempt from taxation. The money collected from persons residing in territory

Section 11-80-10 Licensing of junkyards located within and outside police jurisdictions by
municipalities and counties. (a) As used in this section, the following words and phrases

Section 22-28-23 Local air pollution control programs. (a) Except as provided in this section,
it is the intention of this chapter to occupy by preemption the field of air pollution control
within all areas of the State of Alabama. However, nothing in this section shall be construed
