Section 16-16-7 Powers generally. The authority shall have the following powers: (1)
To have succession by its corporate name until the principal of and interest on all bonds
issued by it shall have been fully paid; (2) To sue and be sued and to prosecute and defend

Section 23-2-144 Powers of the authority. (a) The authority shall have the following
powers: (1) To adopt bylaws for the regulation of its affairs and the conduct of its business.

Section 11-50A-20 Trust agreement. In the discretion of the authority, any issue of
bonds may be secured by a trust agreement or indenture made by the authority with a corporate
trustee, which may be any trust company or bank within or without the state having the powers
