Section 29-2A-2 Composition; terms; vacancies; meetings; rulemaking authority. (a) The commission
shall be composed of the following members: (1) Three members of the House of Representatives
appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, one of whom shall be a member of
the minority party. (2) Three members of the Senate appointed by the President Pro Tempore
of the Senate, one of whom shall be a member of the minority party. (3) Six members appointed
by the Governor. (4) The Director of Finance, or his or her designee, who shall serve as a
nonvoting member. (5) The Deputy Director of the Legislative Services Agency Fiscal Division,

Section 34-43-6 Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. (a) There is created the Alabama Board of
Massage Therapy. The purpose of the board is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of
the public by ensuring that licensed massage therapists, massage therapy schools, and massage
therapy instructors meet prescribed standards of education, competency, and practice. To accomplish
this mission, the board shall establish standards pursuant to this chapter to complete all
board functions in a timely and effective manner and to provide open and immediate access

Section 45-22A-21 Board of education. (a) There is established a school board for the City
of Cullman, Alabama, which board shall be called "The Cullman City Board of Education."
The board shall be composed of five members elected from the city at-large by the qualified
electors of the City of Cullman. Places on the board shall be numbered one to five, inclusive.
