Section 11-61A-9 Powers. The authority shall have the following powers, together with all incidental powers necessary: (1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time (which may be in perpetuity) specified in its certificate of incorporation. Section 40-9E-1 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter only, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) BASE YEAR. The Legislature of the State of Alabama has investigated the economic, financial and environmental impact associated with the potential for duplication of electric distribution facilities used for the furnishing of retail electric service.
