Section 17-16-40 Grounds of contest. The election of any person declared elected to the office
of Governor, Secretary of State, Auditor, Treasurer, Attorney General, Commissioner of Agriculture

Section 34-15-9 Failure to comply with rules and regulations. The State Hotel Inspector, upon
ascertaining by inspection or otherwise that any hotel is being operated contrary to the rules
and regulations of the State Board of Health, shall notify the owner, manager, agent, or person
in charge of such hotel, in writing, in what respect it fails to comply with the regulations
and require such person, within a reasonable time to be fixed by the the State Hotel Inspector,
to do, or cause to be done, the things necessary to make it comply with the regulations, whereupon

Section 40-12-265 Mutilation or alteration of tags; replacement tags; use of improper tags.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to mutilate or alter, for the purpose of deception,
any motor vehicle tag, plate, or validation stamp or to use upon any motor vehicle any tags,
plates, or validation stamps in imitation of or substitution for authorized issued tags, plates,
or validation stamps. It shall be the duty of all sheriffs, police officers, state troopers,
license inspectors, deputy license inspectors, and field agents of the Department of Revenue
to arrest any person violating the provisions of this section, and upon conviction of any
such person a fine of not less than $25 nor exceeding $100 shall be imposed for each offense.
The license inspector shall receive a fee of $1.50 for making such arrest, which arrest fee
shall be collected as a part of the costs in any such action before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Section 45-26-142.11 Service charge or fee - Approval; collection. (a) No service charge may
be assessed unless the service charge is approved at a referendum election of the qualified
voters in the district, provided that no person may vote more than once in the election. (b)
Any service charge assessed shall be collected by the revenue commissioner of the county where
the property is located and distributed to the board of the district for fire protection and
emergency medical services and for the administration of the district. (c) The expenses of
establishing and maintaining the district shall be paid for by the proceeds of the service
