Section 36-25A-2 Definitions. As used in and for determining the applicability of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings solely for the purposes of this chapter: (1) DELIBERATION. An exchange of information or ideas among a quorum of members of a subcommittee, committee, or full governmental body intended to arrive at or influence a decision as to how any members of the subcommittee, committee, or full governmental body should vote on a specific matter that, at the time of the exchange, the participating members expect to come before the subcommittee, committee, or full body immediately following the discussion or at a later time. (2) EXECUTIVE SESSION. That portion of a meeting of a subcommittee, committee, or full governmental body from which the public is excluded for one or more of the reasons prescribed in Section 36-25A-7(a). A county manager hired pursuant to this part shall be the chief executive officer of Jefferson County and, as such, shall carry out the duties and responsibilities established by the county commission, including the following: (1) To act as the primary administrative advisor to the county commission on all matters relating to the efficient and economical administration of county government. Section 28-9-4 Prohibited acts - Suppliers. A supplier is prohibited from doing the following: (1) Fail to provide each wholesaler of the supplier's brand or brands with a written agreement which contains in total the supplier's agreement with each wholesaler, and designates a specific exclusive sales territory. Any agreement which is in existence on March 3, 1988, shall be renewed consistent with this chapter; provided, that this chapter may be incorporated by reference in the agreement.
