Section 41-9-708 Creation; administration; composition; qualifications; chairman; terms of office; recognition and representation of additional Indian tribes, bands, and groups; written complaints concerning commissioner. (a) There is hereby created and established the Alabama Indian Affairs Commission hereinafter called the commission, which shall be administered under the direction and supervision of the Joint Committee on Administrative Regulations, as provided by Section 41-22-22. (b) The commission shall be composed of at least 11 members. All members of the commission must reside in Alabama. (a) All fees, commissions, taxes, and other monies, including fines and forfeitures, received under this part shall be paid to the treasurer of the racing commission. Section 45-49-120.07 Personnel director. The board shall elect and fix the salary of the director who shall hold office at the will of the board. The board shall prescribe qualifications as to residence, education, and experience as may be necessary in its opinion to fill the position of director. The minimum standards provided in this section shall apply to trainees who are to be employed as fire-protection personnel by a public fire fighting agency.
