Section 33-13-4 Procedure for incorporation. To become a corporation, the Governor, the Director
of Finance, one member of the Senate, appointed by the president of the Senate, one member
of the House of Representatives, appointed by the Speaker of the House and the Director of
the State Docks Department shall present to the Secretary of State of the State of Alabama

Section 8-6-57 Deputy director. (a) With the approval of the Securities Commission and subject
to the provisions of the Merit System law, the director thereof may designate a deputy director,
who shall possess qualifications fixed by the commission with the approval of the personnel

Section 41-10-53 Authority and procedure for incorporation of authority; members, officers
and directors of authority; reduction to writing, recordation and admissibility in evidence
of proceedings of board of directors. (a) The Director of Finance, the Secretary of the Alabama

Section 41-4-323 Purpose; employees; compensation and benefits; payment of expenses; implementation;
additional duties of director. (a) The Office of Indigent Defense Services is established
to carry out the administrative duties relating to the provision of indigent defense services.
The director shall use existing employees of the Department of Finance and its existing offices,
as assigned by the Director of Finance. The director's salary shall not exceed the state salary
