Section 11-99A-9 Appointment of board members. (a) The district shall have a board of directors
in which all powers of the district shall be vested and which shall consist of the number
of members specified in the articles of incorporation, but not less than three nor more than

Section 16-60-304 Removal of board of directors; vacancies. (a) A member of the board of directors,
other than a member holding Place One, may be removed for cause by a vote of the board. (b)

Section 21-1-2 Board of trustees - Composition; qualifications, appointment and terms of office
of members. The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind shall be managed and controlled by a
board of trustees which shall consist of the Governor, the State Superintendent of Education,
