Section 45-6-242 Levy of taxes; exemptions; payment of taxes; reports by taxpayers; applicability of state sales tax statutes; disposition of funds. (a) The following words, terms, and phrases where used in this section shall have the following respective meanings except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) "County" means Bullock County in the State of Alabama. (2) "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Revenue of the state. (3) "State Department of Revenue" means the Department of Revenue of the state. (4) "State" means the State of Alabama. Section 36-29-14.1 Election by soil and water conservation districts to receive coverage for officers and employees. (a) The governing body of any county soil and water conservation district may, by resolution legally adopted to conform to rules prescribed by the State Employees' Insurance Board, elect to have its officers and employees who are full-time employees working at least a 40-hour work week and its retiring employees who worked full time at least a 40-hour work week during their active employment become eligible to participate in the State Employees' Health Insurance Plan. The fee for a supplier's license is two hundred dollars ($200).
