Section 11-49A-7 Organization of authority; board of directors; election; terms; vacancies;
qualifications; expenses and compensation; removal. Each authority shall be governed by a
board of directors. All powers of the authority shall be exercised by the board or pursuant
to its authorization. The board shall consist of six directors. Each director shall be elected
by the governing body of the authorizing municipality. The initial term of office of three

(a) The Governor shall appoint a State Board of Auctioneers to be comprised of seven auctioneer

Section 11-43-160 Removal. (a)(1) Any person appointed to office in any city or town may, for
cause, after a hearing, be removed by the officer making the appointment. (2) The council
of the municipality may remove, by a two-thirds vote of all those elected to the council,
any person in the several departments for incompetency, malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance
in office and for conduct detrimental to good order or discipline, including habitual neglect
