Section 45-48-70.06 Qualifications for election. Each candidate for election to the commission at the general election shall be nominated by the voters of the entire county who are authorized to participate in any primary election, caucus, or convention, called or held by any political party for the nomination of the office, and their nomination by the qualified voters of any district, or of any subdivision of the county less than the whole county, by any primary election, caucus, or convention, is hereby prohibited.
