Section 33-18-1 Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa River Basin Compact. Section 36-25-1 Definitions. Whenever used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings: (1) BUSINESS. Any corporation, partnership, proprietorship, firm, enterprise, franchise, association, organization, self-employed individual, or any other legal entity. (a) Pursuant to Amendment 678 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, there is created and established the Chambers County Industrial Development Council on September 1, 2001.
