Section 11-43D-2 Adoption of ordinance establishing boundaries of council districts; election
of mayor and city council; assumption of office; future elections; powers and duties. If said
ordinance as hereinabove set out be adopted by the governing body of any municipality to which

Section 45-2A-30.01 Governing body. (a) The governing body of the City of Daphne shall consist
of a mayor-council-city manager. The mayor shall be elected at large, represent the City of
Daphne at all ceremonial functions and have veto power over all ordinances and resolutions

Section 11-42-2 Annexation election and proceedings generally; proceedings where parties consent
to annexation. Whenever the council shall pass a resolution to the effect that the public
health or public good requires that certain territory (described in the resolution) shall

Section 45-22A-21 Board of education. (a) There is established a school board for the City
of Cullman, Alabama, which board shall be called "The Cullman City Board of Education."
The board shall be composed of five members elected from the city at-large by the qualified
electors of the City of Cullman. Places on the board shall be numbered one to five, inclusive.
(b) Each candidate for a place on the city board of education shall be at least 21 years of
age, a resident of the city for at least 90 consecutive days immediately preceding the deadline
