Section 11-4-23 Duties generally. It shall be the duty of the county treasurer: (1) To receive
and keep the money of the county and disburse the same as below stated: a. To pay out of the
general fund of the county, on presentation and without being audited and allowed by the county
commission, all grand and petit juror certificates and to pay all other claims against the
general funds that must be allowed and audited only after they have been audited and allowed

or the heir or personal representative of such person who owns property subject to taxation
in said municipality and who, through a mistake or error in the assessment or collection of

Section 15-18-86 Procedure when condemned female believed pregnant. (a) If there is reason
to believe that a female convict is pregnant, the sheriff must, with the concurrence of a
judge of the circuit court, summon a jury of six disinterested persons, as many of whom must

a resolution, may increase the per diem compensation paid to each member of the county board
of registrars without the necessity of enacting a local law of authorization, provided that

the same cost-of-living increases in compensation that are granted to county employees by
