Section 23-1-157 Bonds - Generally. (a) The bonds of the corporation shall be signed by its president or vice president and attested by its secretary; provided, that a facsimile of the signature of the officers may be imprinted or otherwise reproduced on any such bonds in lieu of his or her signing the same. The seal of the corporation shall be affixed to such bonds; provided, that a facsimile of the seal may be imprinted or otherwise reproduced on any such bonds in lieu of being manually affixed thereon. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR. Any natural person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, association, limited liability company, cooperative, or other legal entity licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors. Section 41-14A-5 Collateral for public deposits; general provisions. Section 45-37-244.01 Automobile rental tax. (a) In Jefferson County, in addition to all other taxes imposed by law, there is hereby levied an additional privilege or license tax, in the amount hereinafter prescribed against any person, organization, or other entity engaging or continuing in the county in the business of leasing or renting any passenger automotive vehicle, the duration of the lease being not more than one year.
