Section 22-22A-5 Powers and functions of department; representation of department by Attorney General in legal actions. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR. Any natural person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, association, limited liability company, cooperative, or other legal entity licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors. (a) The County Commission of Chilton County is authorized, when the need exists, to provide protection against forest fires in Chilton County by participating in the Alabama Forestry Commission's fire protection program in the manner hereinafter specified. (a) The Secretary of State shall develop a program to facilitate the administration of an electronic process for the recordation of filing activities by business and nonprofit entities required under Title 10A.
